When I found out I was pregnant, I naturally started thinking about childbirth. A number of years ago I had to have a spinal tap and had a very severe spinal headache which led to nausea and the inability to sit upright without severe pain for 2+ weeks. Furthermore, I had localized pain in my spine for months afterwards. It was a miserable experience. I knew I did not want to risk something like that happening with a newborn to care for, so I knew I needed to find some way of dealing with the intensity of childbirth without turning to an epidural. I did my research (and more research and more research) and finally came to the conclusion that Hypnobabies was the right choice as I believe in the power of our minds to shape our experiences.
Okay, go get some popcorn and make yourself comfy. This might be a little wordy, but I’ve read it over a few times and just don’t feel like I could cut more out and still have it convey all that went on...plus, I’m just long-winded.
