When I found out I was pregnant in January 2014, I immediately began to spend a lot of time researching providers, hospitals, birthing centers and childbirth classes. I came upon Hypnobabies and quickly found that the philosophies and ideas behind it align with the hopes and goals I had for this birth. I have several important reasons why I chose to go with Hypnobabies, the main one being that I knew I'd need a solid game plan if this birth ended up going as fast as my first one did. My son's birth seven years earlier was very intense, fast and chaotic; four total hours from the first wave to the final push! The waves came so fast and I felt so much pain that I remember feeling like I couldn't catch my breath.
